Legal and platform terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of the UdhaarWala platform. Last updated: 16 August 2026. Please read them before creating an account or submitting an application.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Udhaarwala Finance Services Private Limited, operator of UdhaarWala (“UdhaarWala”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By browsing the platform, creating an account, uploading information or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Platform role and no lending representation

UdhaarWala is a digital loan facilitation platform. It is not a bank, RBI-registered NBFC or direct lender. We do not promise, sanction, fund, disburse, service or collect a loan in our own name. We may help you prepare an application and, only where a formal integration is active and you submit for that purpose, transmit relevant information to an identified regulated lender for independent consideration.

Company incorporation, platform registration, an indicative calculation, application status, eligibility estimate, document request or communication from UdhaarWala is not a loan offer, sanction, guarantee, commitment to lend or representation that a loan will be approved.

2. Eligibility and account access

You may use the platform only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and meet the age, residency and other eligibility requirements that may apply to the platform or a particular lender product. You must use your own accurate Google account and must not create an account for another person without lawful authority.

You are responsible for keeping your account access secure. Promptly notify us through the official contact details if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend access to protect you, the platform, a lender or other users where we reasonably detect a security concern, fraud, misuse or legal risk.

3. Your application and documents

You confirm that information you provide is complete, current and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that documents you upload are genuine, unaltered and lawfully provided. You must update material information if it changes before an application is decided. You must not impersonate another person, submit fabricated documents, conceal relevant facts, misuse another person’s identity or attempt to circumvent platform controls.

We may ask for additional information or documents to make an application complete. A request for a document does not mean a lender has approved the application. We may retain or preserve relevant records where required for audit, fraud prevention, legal claims, compliance, investigation or a lender-supported workflow.

4. Lender products and decisions

Every regulated lender controls its own product availability, eligibility rules, KYC and verification process, underwriting, credit decision, interest rate, annual percentage rate, charges, repayment schedule, loan agreement, disbursal, servicing, recovery and grievance process. A lender may approve, reject, modify, pause or withdraw an application or offer in accordance with its policies and applicable law.

If a lender makes you an offer, you must read the lender’s Key Facts Statement, sanction communication, loan agreement and any mandate or eSign documents before accepting. Those documents govern the loan. Do not accept a loan unless you understand the lender name, amount, annual percentage rate, total charges, instalment amount, repayment dates, default or penal-charge consequences, prepayment terms and applicable grievance contacts.

5. Fees, payments and impersonation safety

UdhaarWala does not ask an applicant to pay a separate platform fee to obtain a loan approval. Any loan-related charge payable by a borrower must be clearly identified by the regulated lender in its disclosures and loan documentation. Do not make a payment to a personal account, UPI ID or unverified link claiming to guarantee approval, accelerate disbursal or “unlock” a loan.

Where a lender product requires repayment or a payment mandate, follow only the payment directions and account details provided in the lender’s official loan documentation. UdhaarWala does not request OTPs, passwords, card PINs or full bank-account credentials through unsolicited calls, messages or emails.

6. Electronic records and communications

You agree that we may communicate with you electronically through the platform, your registered email address, SMS or another channel you have authorised, subject to applicable law. Electronic records, confirmations and notices may be used to maintain a history of your application and interactions. You remain responsible for checking the contact details associated with your account.

7. Privacy and permitted data use

Our processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By submitting an application, you ask us to process the information needed to provide the platform services and, if an identified lender workflow is active, to share the relevant application information for that stated purpose. We will not publish your personal information or present an unnamed organisation as a lender partner.

8. Acceptable use

You must not probe, scan, reverse engineer, interfere with or bypass platform security; upload malware; use automated tools to access the platform without permission; infringe intellectual-property rights; send unlawful content; or use the platform for any purpose prohibited by law. We may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with law-enforcement agencies or regulators where required.

9. Service availability and limitations

We aim to provide a reliable service, but the platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, connectivity, third-party service interruption, security measures, lender changes or events beyond our reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that an application will receive an offer, or that a lender will approve, disburse or maintain a product.

Nothing on the platform is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You should seek independent advice where appropriate, especially before taking on a significant repayment obligation.

10. Intellectual property

The UdhaarWala name, design, software, content and other materials on the platform are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

11. Suspension, changes and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the platform, update these Terms, or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, fraud prevention, a lender requirement or business operations. If we make material changes, we will publish the updated Terms with a revised date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires another form of notice or consent.

12. Complaints, law and contact

For a platform complaint, follow our Grievance Redressal process. For a loan-specific complaint after an offer or disbursal, also use the lender’s grievance channel provided in the Key Facts Statement or loan agreement. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts having competent jurisdiction under applicable law, subject to any statutory consumer remedies.
