About UdhaarWala

A clearer path from application to informed borrowing.

We are building a digital application experience for salaried Indians that puts transparency, borrower readiness and lender accountability ahead of shortcuts.

Financial pressure is often immediate. A medical expense, a rent deposit, education fee or family commitment can create a real need for short-term credit. That urgency should not force anyone through an opaque or misleading loan journey. UdhaarWala is designed to make the application process understandable before a user makes any borrowing decision.

Who operates the platform

UdhaarWala is operated by Udhaarwala Finance Services Private Limited, an Indian private limited company with CIN U66190DC2026PTC474204. You may review the public company listing here.

Company incorporation does not make UdhaarWala a bank, an RBI-registered NBFC or a direct lender. Unless and until a regulated lender is expressly identified for a loan product, UdhaarWala does not lend money, make a binding credit decision, set a binding rate, disburse a loan or collect repayments.

What UdhaarWala does

UdhaarWala provides the technology and operating layer that helps an applicant create an account, complete a structured loan application, upload relevant documents, understand the status of that application and, where a formal lender partnership is active, send the application to the appropriate regulated lender for its independent evaluation.

  • A guided, save-as-you-go application so users do not have to complete a long form in one sitting.
  • Secure collection of the information typically needed for a personal-loan assessment, such as identity, employment, income, bank and document details.
  • Clear applicant status updates and a way to provide additional documentation if a lender or authorised reviewer requests it.
  • Operational tools for authorised teams to review document completeness and manage partner-ready application workflows.

What the regulated lender does

When a lender partnership is live, the relevant RBI-regulated bank or NBFC remains responsible for the loan product, credit appraisal, KYC and other statutory checks, approval or rejection, pricing, Key Facts Statement, loan agreement, disbursal, servicing, recovery and partner-specific grievance handling. A submission on UdhaarWala is an application for consideration; it is not an offer, sanction, guarantee or commitment to lend.

Our approach to borrower trust

We do not use “guaranteed approval”, “instant disbursal” or similar statements unless an identified regulated lender has approved the relevant product and the statement is accurate for that product. We show indicative figures only as illustrations and expect the lender’s final Key Facts Statement and loan agreement to explain the actual annual percentage rate, charges, repayment schedule and other binding terms before acceptance.

We also separate platform updates from lender decisions. If information is incomplete, the platform may ask for a document. If a lender decides on a loan, the lender’s communication and loan documents govern that decision.

Designed for a responsible partnership model

Our partner approach is built for transparency. Before any live integration, the proposed lender, product scope, borrower journey, required disclosures, data-sharing purpose, customer-support process, escalation matrix and responsibilities should be documented in a written agreement and reflected in the product experience. We will not present an organisation as a lending partner without its authorisation.

Our current focus

UdhaarWala is focused on building a thoughtful, mobile-friendly personal-loan application platform for salaried users in India. The product is being developed to support compliant lender integrations, including configurable document requests, clear status management, auditable workflow actions and borrower-facing policy disclosures. Features and availability may change as lender partnerships and operational controls are introduced.
